The main objectives of this master’s course in Applied Communication are:

  • To promote training and research within the area of communication sciences;
  • To train professionals and researchers in the fields of strategic communication, multimedia and audiovisual resources;
  • To increase scientific knowledge, finding and creating innovative opportunities within integrated communication strategies;
  • To develop expertise in areas related to the information and knowledge society;
  • To train professionals capable of effectively responding to new demands in content and management production for different platforms.

Career Opportunities

The Strategic Communication branch aims at training professionals to:

  • Perform programming and content production functions concerning institutional communication;
  • Manage online-communities;
  • Provide communication consulting or advice;
  • Coordinate events programming and organization activities;
  • Perform accountant/accountant supervisor/accountant director functions in advertising or communication agencies.

The Interactive Multimedia branch intends to train professionals to:

  • Perform functions in companies within the multimedia area;
  • Develop coordination activities for interactive multimedia projects;
  • Collaborate in the design and development of multimedia communication solutions;
  • Perform multimedia content management functions for different platforms.

The Audiovisual Communication branch aims at training professionals to:

  • Perform multipurpose functions within the audiovisual area;
  • Create contents in the imaging production area;
  • Design and develop audiovisual projects;
  • Collaborate in the implementation and dynamization of audiovisual communication strategies;
  • Perform criticism and analysis functions concerning audiovisual communication.
