Arts of Cultural Performance

Presentation

This bachelor’s course in the Arts of Cultural Performance aims at the training of a professional profile, capable of answering the current demands within the area of the performative arts. In this sense, this study cycle provides the acquisition of interpersonal, systemic and instrumental skills, capable of assuring working tools suitable to:

  • Design, promote and evaluate cultural projects;
  • Diagnose cultural problems in social intervention contexts;
  • Make the articulation among cultural equipment, institutions and services;
  • Develop team work.

Career Opportunities

The aim of the course is to train professionals whose plural competence, versatility and flexibility of the professional profile is adapted both to the private initiative and to the performance of functions in municipalities, foundations, museums, libraries, artistic and cultural production companies, leisure collectivities, educational services, tourism enterprises, private social solidarity institutions, adult education and training centers, cultural and recreational associations within local and community development. Among others, the activities to be performed by these professionals will be:

  • Cultural performance;
  • Cultural events organizer and coordinator;
  • Exhibitions organizer and coordinator;
  • Artistic programmer;
  • Cultural events producer;
  • Artistic director, curator, exhibitions curator;
  • Performing arts producer.
